Identifying you're own skills is really important when trying to move into employment or further education. If you are aware and confident of what your skills are, it means you can highlight and emphasize these on your CV, covering letter, application or during an interview. Employers and admissions committees will want to know what skills you can provide so you need to be familiar with your skills and why they are relevant to the role or course you are applying for!
Try making a note of all of your strengths, how you utilise them regularly and an example of a time where you have put this skill in practice. This will help you reinforce answers to interview questions which you have previously prepared and know how to approach. Often, employers don't want to see a lengthy list of your skills on an application. Employers are interested to see how you use that skill and a specific situation where this has resulted in a positive outcome.
